Research areas:

A – Image-Guided Radiotherapy & Treatment QA

Development of advanced algorithms and workflows for real-time treatment verification, motion management, and quality assurance in radiotherapy. Focus on integrating surface scanning, EPID/Delta4/IQM signals, and AI-supported decision tools to improve accuracy and clinical robustness.

B – Dosimetry & Dosiomics

Extraction and analysis of high-dimensional dose features (“dosiomics”) to predict clinical outcomes, toxicity, and therapy response. This includes methodological research (feature extraction, model development, validation) and clinical translation using retrospective radiotherapy datasets.

C – Computational Anatomy, Motion Modelling & Digital Twins

Simulation of patient anatomy and tumor motion using CT/CBCT fusion, finite-element modelling, and AI-based surface-to-volume prediction. Goal: enable radiation-free position verification and real-time intra-fraction motion prediction using digital patient twins.
