AskEUDAMED — a research assistant for EUDAMED
AskEUDAMED helps to phrase questions to EUDAMED — the European database on medical devices — so that they become answerable, and gives a reasoned account when the data does not support an answer. Every question triggers a live query against the European Commission’s public interface instead of a stored copy of the database; the tool filters by product group, risk class and legal framework, and shows those filters and the number of records an answer is based on.
It is a prototype for research and evaluation purposes, not a product. Legally binding information can only be obtained from the official EUDAMED database of the European Commission.
